Choose which cloud provider + model drives agent + app generation.
Build is the high-stakes generation work — scaffolding apps from a prompt, generating agents from a description, plan synthesis, Plugin Forge. Cloud-only because small local models produce wrong-shape outputs for structured generation. Build is BYOK, so ANYONE can pick a single Build model — it's no longer Pro-gated. Pro + Enterprise additionally get a per-step picker: route the initial build, configure, judge, and fix passes to different models (a strong reasoner for the first pass, a cheaper model for review/fix).
Steps
- Open Settings → AI → AI Model for Build.
Connect a cloud provider first (Cloud Models Config), then pick the default Build model. Every tier can do this.
- Pick provider + model.
Defaults pull from your Cloud Models Config selections. Pro + Enterprise can expand 'Per-step model (advanced)' to assign a different model per build step.
Live recipes need the desktop
